Loading the car wasn't exactly the easiest thing in the world but we packed that junk in like sardines in can! Awwww yeah. Asian-style packing FTW. On Sunday when we were about to leave for the meeting, I stood at the doorway, patted the doorpost, and sighed, "Well... this is it. Goodbye house." At that point I completely lost it, ran to my room and bawled my eyes out. Yes, I'm a crybaby, but hey, I love my home, so sue me! (Actually please don't, I'm very poor right now!)
Anyways, went to the meeting, listened to Chu Tuan's special memorial talk, studied the WatchTower, and then said my final goodbyes to everyone. I also got to take pictures with the Teen Girl Squad, so if you want any pictures, go bug Yen about it!
Afterwards, we had some TK Noodle (#9 Wonton noodle is the best!), hit up some Peet's, and then finally hit the road. Spending about 5-6 hours in a car with Thanh makes for some interesting conversation. Surprisingly, Thanh and I had similar backgrounds in the way we grew up. Talk about wild. And of course I ranted about how it's the "in thing" to be a nerd, why women are crazy (about me! ... just kidding! I'm not the Loser Club President for nothin' y'know!) , and how fat I was. Interesting times.
After a long drive through Los Angeles, we finally reached our destination... Co Le's house. First leg of the trip... done! Next up is a tale of our time in LA. Stay tuned!
... Bored yet? :p
